Motorola MotoZINE ZN5
In sunny conditions, the first Motorola/Kodak camera phone holds its own against dedicated digital still cameras. It makes clear calls, too, so it's a solid choice for avid shutterbugs with T-Mobile service.read more →
- 5-megapixel camera
- Excellent call quality
- Full Web browser
- Wi-Fi.
Motorola and Kodak's first cameraphone collaboration
Battery-wise the Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5 held up pretty well over two days though extended use of flash, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi tended to hammer it.
We might have something better from Motorola's venture with Kodak. It's a flawed but promising first collaboration. We'd expect the next one to look better, be easier to use, and include a few more picture editing options. We certainly hope so.read more →

Motorola ZINE ZN5 Review
Motorola enters the cameraphone market late, but better late than never and it did not disappoint us. The ZINE ZN5 has a modern design, it’s suitable for listening to music and has a very fast camera, which takes very good pictures if the sun is shining. Unfortunately, the story changes on cloudy days and indoors and the Xenon is only useful if taking a picture of an object at 7 feet at the most.read more →
- Elegant, modern and user-friendly
- Very fast camera
- Long battery life
- Good sound quality
- The back lid is very hard to open
- No 3G
- The camcorder shoots videos at very low resolution
- No high-quality video playback
- Poor image quality in low lighting conditions
Motorola Zine ZN5 review (T-Mobile)
The Motorola ZN5 is the best camera phone we've seen so far. But it doesn't stop there, as it's a good phone, too.read more →
- The Motorola ZN5 offers a fantastic camera with a wide range of options and excellent photo quality. The plentiful feature set includes stereo Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the design is sleek and sturdy, and call quality is more than respectable.
- The Motorola ZN5's memory card is located behind the battery cover. The menus can be pokey at times and the camera interface could use a refinement. Also, the ZN5 lacks video editing features and the photo uploading process had a couple of hiccups.
