LG, the South Korean firm, launched its flagship LG V30+ smartphone in India. The phone was globally launched at the IFA event held in Berlin in September, and its big highlight is the full vision display and the ergonomic design.
Talking about the highlights, the real USP of the LG V30+ is its 18:9 aspect ratio display with ultra-thin bezels around it. The V30 Plus flaunts a 6-inch quad HD+ FullVision OLED display, WQHD+ (2880×1440) resolution and 538ppi density. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10. With no secondary display, the V30+ sports a Floating Bar, which stores all your shortcuts.
Under the glass and metal unibody, the LG V30+ rocks on octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset, which can clock up to 2.35GHz frequency. The processor is mated with Adreno 540GPU, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. The device is aided by a 3,300mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0. LG will be shipping the phone with LG UX 6.0 based Android 7.1.2 Nougat running out-of-the-box.
In optics, the LG V30+ features a combination of a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 13-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture along with Hybrid Auto Focus, OIS and EIS. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity options on the LG V30+ include Dual 4G LTE sim, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi among others. The dimensions of the LG V30+ are 151.70 x 75.40 x 7.30mm and its weight is 158 grams.
LG V30+ has been best priced in India at Rs. 44,990 and will be available across the country in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet colors from December 18 onwards.
