Lava Z4

Lava comes with upgradable Z-series smartphones at a budget-friendly cost. You can customize Lava Z4 under the Build MyZ program and also can choose from a list of pre-fixed specifications. Lava Z4 comes with 13MP triple rear cameras and a 16MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, the smartphone has MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C port.

Display and Camera

Lava Z4 smartphone comes fitted with a 6.5-inch display with a waterdrop notch. This is an HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1600px that amounts to 263PPI. The panel has a waterdrop notch with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen has a decent size and comes with slim bezels around. You get a fair size screen for entertainment and other counterparts.

Lava Z4 smartphone has 13MP triple rear cameras backed by an LED flash. The cameras are vertically aligned, it carries a 13MP primary camera paired with 5MP and a 2MP camera with autofocus. You can expect to click decent images using its various cameras. For assisting selfies and video calls, you get a 16MP camera inside the notch. As far as the video recording is concerned, you may record FHD 1080p videos@30fps using both the rear and the front camera. Lava Z4 camera app features DigitalBeauty Mode, HDR Mode, Burst Mode, Panorama, Night, AI Scene Detection, Bokeh Mode Zoom.

Performance and Battery

Lava Z4 smartphone is powered by Android 10 out of the box. On the performance side, the Lava Z4 runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor embedded on a 12nm chipset. Lava Z4 has inbuilt 4GB of RAM but it can be upgraded up to 6GB under the “Build MyZ” program. It has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU to render the graphical demands of the phone. On the rear side, Lava Z4 has a fingerprint sensor for security unlocks. 

Lava Z4 smartphone comes with a big 5,000mAh battery underneath. The smartphone supports proprietary charging out of the box. Heavy users who prefer big battery phones under budget may look for this Lava Z1 smartphone. However, a full day of battery life is expected under normal usage of the phone.

Storage and Connectivity

Lava Z4 smartphone has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. As mentioned earlier, you can upgrade Lava  Z4 internal storage up to 128GB using its “Build MyZ program”. Also, the phone has an extra storage slot that supports up to 512GB of storage. You can benefit from the storage quota to fill with apps, games, movies, videos, music, photos, documents, etc.

Lava Z4 offers a host of connectivity features that include 3G, 4G, and VoLTE options that enables HD voice calls over compatible networks, Bluetooth 5 that boosts signal strength and connectivity range. It has a v2.0 USB Type C port for OTG and charging. For real-time navigation, it has Google’s GPS with A-GPS constellation.
