Coolpad Max is slated for online launch in India exclusively on Amazon 23,999 INR. It has a full HD (1920 x1080) 5.5inch laminated display, providing viewing angles of up to 178 degrees and the display is protected by a scratch resistant glass. Featured in this phone are Dual SIM (4G+4G) slots with a separate slot for expandable memory (64GB).
Humming underneath is an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and Mali T720MP3 GPU buzzing at 450MHz. Coolpad Max is equipped with a virtual memory of 3GB (RAM) and internal storage capacity of 16GB (expandable). Powered by 2800 mAH battery (bundled with 9V/2A charger giving it a charge of 65% in just 30 minutes), this phone runs Android 5.1 (which seems to be a drawback since a lot of phones, even at a lower range are coming with Android 6.0) integrated with Cool UI 6.0. A 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing shooter (with gesture support to capture quick selfies) is also provided.
With a design similar to that of HTC One A9 (which in itself seemed like Android powered iPhone when unveiled), Coolpad Max is built out of metal (unibody design) with a 2.5D curved Gorilla glass at the top. There is a fingerprint sensor provided at the back for improved security, this fingerprint sensor can also be used as a quick-shot key for camera.read more →
