Coolpad launched its new flagship device in India, the Cool Play 6. The smartphone is the second mid-range device from Coolpad to come with a dual-rear facing camera.
The Cool Play 6 rear-camera features a 13MP+13MP Monochrome and RGB color sensors, respectively, with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and an HDR and 4K video support. For selfies, the phone features an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Other specifications of Cool Play 6 include a 5.5inch HD display, an embedded fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone and an all metallic-body finish. Out of the box, the Cool Play 6 will operate on Android Nougat software, which will be upgraded to Android O - latest OS by Google - in December.
Apart from this, the Cool Play 6 is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via hybrid micro-SD card. In terms of battery performance, the Cool Play 6 packs a huge 4000 mAh battery.
Connectivity options in Cool Play 6 include 4G hybrid dual-sim, VoLTE service, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and comes with a USB-Type C port for charging and data transfer.
Priced under 15,000 INR, the Cool Play 6 will be at war with the market leaders - Redmi Note 4, Moto G5 Plus and Lenovo K8 Note.
The Cool Play 6 will be on sale in India from September 4 onwards. The lowest price of Cool Play 6 in India as of now is Rs. 14,999 and it will be available exclusively at Amazon India.
