Competition much better
Toshiba makes good laptops, but slightly more expensive. The newer laptops like the Lenovo Z50 and the HP ab032tx (with B&O speakers) and full HD display of 1920x1080 are far better as far as specs and price is concerned. Almost 10-15k cheaper. Also deals available with all of them.

Dude stop misleading people, if you don't have a friggin idea about processors please don't strain yourself ! very rare and expensive desktop have octacore all other home purpose/gaming ones come with quadcore processor which can be OC'd(overclocked) upto 4 Ghz and have base freq of 3 Ghz more or less , and these are the most expensive ones like 4700HQ, 4710HQ etc.. Q denotes Quadcore see alienware laptops .... all laptops designed to give you a longer battery life are the 'u' series these are dual core ones like i5 4200u, i7 4500u etc... so this laptop is fine for all people with home purpose and don't do visual rendering/gaming or cpu/gpu intensive work :-) Plz for gamers this is not the one you are lookin for see HP envy with the GTX 850m or acer v5 with GT 750m these two GPU are in different league! Overall i have seen all my friends with toshiba have overheating issues Hope this helps.
