Highly recommended
Lenovo really have outdone themselves with the latest Legion series. The legion Y530 however is the entry level gaming product for the market. Now talking about the things that matter, DESIGN : 9.5/10 This is laptop does not look like a typical gaming device, it has a pretty serious vibe to it without any of those flashy RGB colors, which is why i love this product. Basically every gaming laptop in the market has some Red and Black scheme so if you want something serious and non flashy then definitely go for this. The laptop looks and feels a lot more upmarket conisdering its pricing. The bezels are minimal and compliment the already nice looking screen. Since the bezels are so thin, this device has smaller footprint than your average 15.6 in laptops, which is a huge plus. The body is all around plastic, but not the cheap type. Every inch of this device is designed to be elegant. The lid has circular texture originating from the "O" of LEGION which makes it difficult for scratches and fingerprints to appear. ALSO, there is an illuminated "Y" on the lid which looks super cool with the overall design aesthetics. The whole area around the keyboard and the mouse pad is covered with a layer of soft touch plastic which can get slimy over time so it's one drawback of this device. Keyboard is backlit in white (no RGB) with two intensities. All the ports are cleanly arranged at the back of the chasis which is another plus for the aesthetics of this device. The camera is positioned on the lower chin of the screen which makes the camera perspective unusual facing your nose and lower chin rather than your face, the image quality is good though, and since I don't use WebCam that often so I'm good with the camera placement but it's one thing that should be kept in mind when buying this laptop. Although this laptop DOES NOT has a SD card port but it comes with a Type-C port, so keep that in mind while buying. PERFORMANCE : 8/10 This comes with Intel's 8th Generation coffee lake processors, this one is equipped with I5 which is significantly better than a 7th Gen I7. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 does its job pretty well, but it should have been a GTX 1050Ti with this setup. The 1050 is okay but 1050Ti would've suited this device more. 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of SSD make this laptop a breeze to work with. The boot up is really fast with an average time of around 2-3 seconds, but the unit that i purchased lags for some milliseconds when shutting it down for some unknown reason. With some optimisations you'll be able to play most of the AAA titles on good FPS on this device. I'll recommend getting rid of the Bloatware this device comes with, for more preformance, especially the useless 1-Year subscription of McAfee Antivirus. The battery is just 52 Watt hrs, which gives just around 2 hours of usage on full charge, and for gaming i recommend to plug in the charger at all times. OVERALL VERDICT : 9/10 I'm more than satisfied with this purchase, got the product delivered in just 1 day with marginally safe packing. Bought this for 76K and if you are planning to get this laptop i'll recommend you to get it from the official Lenovo website where you get 2-Years additional warranty under some offer. Was planning on getting the DELL 7567, which has better thermals and a bigger battery (75 Watt hr), but ended up buying this one. The display is nice and crisp with high viewing angles, the body feels expensive to touch and feel, the plastics are nice, the battery is really small. If you are aiming for something that is fresh then this laptop is just right for you. Anything that i missed to mention in this review is completely unintentional. Used the device myself for a week before writing this review. And I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is considering to buy a performance laptop in 2019. Kudos to Lenovo for such outstanding product <3

Excellent
1st impression only after 1 day use: 1. Packaging: Decent, but could have been better. Can be harmed if not handled gently. -- 6/10 2. Look and feel: Pretty stylish but not overly, makes it handsome for both gamers and regular workers. Material used are premium. 2 levels of backlit keyboard, which is better than others. Looks badass. -- 9/10 3. Display: Awesome. Full hd, anti-glare, crisp display, but not like premium television. Exceeds expectations in this range. -- 10/10 4. Performance: Just like others in this configuration. I have played Assassins Creed Black Flag only till now and not much multitasking. Here is what I noticed: SSD works fast. Boots up in 8 - 10 sec. Performs awesomely when charger plugged in, lags a bit otherwise. -- 8/10 5. Battery: Just as all mid range laptops battery is a disappointment. Heavy works can drain battery fast but for regular works it's alright. Can't give the metrics now. Heats up pretty easily but 2 cooling fans does the job.-- 6/10 6. Sound: You know sound is actually pretty good if only it would have been a little louder. -- 8/10 I got it for pretty less price, won't say how much, but if it comes down somewhere around 60-65k, close your eyes and buy it.
