Realme Band Details

Realme band sports a color TFT LCD panel with five unique dial faces, IP 68 certified body, and is backed by a 90mAh battery. Let’s read about it in detail to see if this Realme band is worth buying.

Display and Design

Realme band has a 0.96-inch color TFT LCD display with 80x160 pixels. The fitness band doesn’t accept touch inputs but has a touch button at the bottom that helps with navigation across the interface. It comes with five dial faces that you can set or change using the Realme link app.

The band has a comfortable strap, a durable build, and is and IP68 water and dust resistance certified (up to 1.5m). It has a polycarbonate plastic body that weighs only 20gms. The strap is removable and comes in three different colors - black, green and yellow.

Sensors

Realme band offers a real-time heart rate sensor that tracks users’ heart rate thoroughly after every 5 minutes. Also, it has an inbuilt gravity sensor that wakes up display with a lift of the wrist. Besides these, it also has a 3-axis accelerometer, rotor vibration motor, Sports mode, and Health monitor.

Realme has added 9 sports modes to its band out of which only three can be added to the band interface at a time. These sports mode feature running, walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, yoga, spinning, fitness, and - especially for India - a cricket mode which offers detailed stats while playing cricket.

Realme has added user-friendly features that may help users in tracking their health records. Other features include automated heart rate measurement, 24hr real-time heart rate measurement, resting heart rate monitor, sleep detection, water reminder, sedentary reminder and basic activity stats tracking (Steps count, distance traveled, calories burnt, etc.).

Battery and Connectivity

Realme band is backed by a 90mAh battery that results in 6-9 days of backup. Here you’ll get 6 days of backup with the heart rate sensor enabled, and 9 days of backup with the sensor disabled.

Realme band is compatible with Android 5+ smartphones. You can use the Realme connectivity app that pairs over Bluetooth 4.2 to customize the band interface or to set your preferences.

Wonderful

A value for money product. With best in class features. What I like - ¬ Display and Design - Large colour display (0.9 inch). 5 in-built beautiful watch faces. Detachable strap, which makes it unique in the Industry. Also it makes it easy to charge. It's ergonomic design makes it comfortable to wear all the time. Weighs just 20 g. ¬ Smart Notification - It alerts me of Incoming calls, SMSs, whatsapp, Twitter, facebook, Instagram and various popular applications. ¬ It comes with heart rate monitor and 9 sports mode, like Run, Walk, Bike, Hiking, Fitness, Climbing, Spinning, Yoga and Cricket. Cricket is special for India. It also comes with sleep tracking, idle alert and drink reminder features. ¬ Battery backup is also very impressive. Last 9 days without hrm.

Worst experience ever!

Bluetooth range is 2 to 5 feet and line of sight only. Phone and band should be kept together. Good only for indoor use. No notification if your phone goes out of range on band, however one who stole your phone can see your band is disconnected and will be happy for theft. Display is good only in dark and useless in sunlight Realme link app is very basis and they have onboarded preKG to work now. First goal is to start earning. Sleep monitor is better than Mi band and other unbranded bands Great as digital watch for now. Color and design of band is good. There is no real buying point. So if you have no need for digital watch , then do not go for it. You cannot return this product if you buy. So buy & try is not an option.

Does the job

After 10days Use *Look and feel awesome *Connectivity is VERY BAD AND CONNECTIVITY IS MAIN IN WIRLESS DEVICES. I DON'T PREFER IT. GO FOR MI BANDS. *USB Charging is better option than other brands #Functions Like Sleep Data and Step Count is not proper need Update. #Time Faces could be better. #Battery backup is Very Bad almost 3days working after Fully Charged #Battery Backup need improvement atlest 10 days like Mi Band.
