Very under rated camera which is best for indoors and outdoors zooming.

This Fujifilm HS30 is very under rated camera. Many reviewers are complaining about high iso image noise but there is EXR mode that they forgot to use.Using EXR mode in 8mp mode, the camera gives sharp and clear images than other competitors. I have many digital cameras and DSLR. I wanted a zoom camera with good image quality, so I purchase Canon SX50 which is considered best for zoom quality. Although its image quality at longer zoom was very good, its indoor image quality was poor because of small aperture. So i sold it and purchased Fujifilm HS30.When I handles HS30, I felt canon and nikon superzoom cameras as toys! This HS30 is better built like dslr body.Even some dslr dont look as good as HS30.Its that better, really. Pros. of Fuji HS30 1) Very good image quality indoors. 2) Good image quality at long zoom.Very sharp and clear images if handled steady. Canon sx50 will also give slightly good image quality because of longer zoom and less noise. But both are good. 3)Built quality just excellent! other cameras looks as toys against HS30. 4)Lots of features to experiment.Auto Panorama stitches multiple images inside camera. 5)View finder best in class.Very clear and sharp. 6)Manual zoom is fast, fun to use and uses no battery power. 7)Can attach external flash if required. 8)Slow motion movie is very fun to use.Full zoom in videos is also great. 9)battery life is really great. I took 750 pics without flash in single recharge.Excellent! 10)EXR sensor and EXR modes need some homework and trials. Once you understand their use, this is the best camera to use indoors and outdoors. 11)Shooting modes are unbeatable! All modes are really working and not found in canon, nikon cameras. 12)EXR auto mode works very well and macro of 1cm is very much usefull and appreciated. This HS30 has short focusing distance which helps is shooting photos with full zoom. Cons: 1) Learning of EXR modes is required to give optimum image quality. 2) HD video is average quality. 3) Sometimes camera overexposes images in EXR mode Summary: Buy this camera with confidence and you will like this camera in your hand.

one of the best point and shoot

This one of the best point and shoot camera available in market. Pros: lots of function and customizations available. EXR mode is great. has manual setting for focus, exposure, iso, aperture control, etc.. Has RAW support. Great optical zoom. Cons: autofocus in video recording is pathetic. Tends to loose focus frequently when shooting an object. There was a reboot issue, got fixed with firmware upgrade. Picture quality is average. My exceptions were bit on higher side. Have used other point and shoots which give better results.

Awesome zoom and colour contrast...

I tried many types of photography with this camera, from super macro to HDR, from moonlight to sea beach, It is worth it. My friends love my photography with this camera. It has wide angle lens and good quality glass lens. Viewfinder is comfortable. Many manual settings like old time film SLR that makes it very innovative to use and try tricks in photography. If you are a beginner then I believe that this cam is a guide to learn photography. Every feature is adjustable manually. Buy it , play with photography and get famous.
