The camera uses a 26.1 MP back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor paired with the X-Processor 5. On the video side, the X-T30 III supports 6.2K recording at 30 fps in 4:2:2 10-bit color using the full sensor in an open gate format. This allows flexibility to crop content later for different aspect ratios without losing quality. It also supports 4K at 60 fps and Full HD at 240 fps for slow-motion footage. Digital image stabilization is included for smoother handheld recording.
