HyperOS 2.0 hidden camera detection

A report by XiaomiTime claims that the upcoming HyperOS update could include hidden camera detection. According to the publication, HyperOS 2.0 will enable users to detect hidden cameras using the wireless local-area network. Since hidden cameras often rely on wireless networks, a search through the network could reveal their presence.

The publication has shared a screenshot of the “Hidden camera detection” feature. The feature’s description, as mentioned in the screenshot, reads, “Detect hidden cameras to protect your privacy and personal safety.” Further, there’s a “Start scanning” button at the bottom. By pressing the virtual button, users can detect hidden cameras.
