Xiaomi X1 Dual Camera smartphone with Snapdragon 660 SoC leaked online

Amidst of all the buzz surrounding upcoming Redmi Pro successor, a new Xiaomi smartphone has popped up online. If the leak is anything to go buy, the alleged smartphone could be Xiaomi X1, perhaps belonging to a new series that shall bridge the gap between Redmi and Mi series which cater to affordable and premium segment buyers respectively.

The supposed smartphone is rumored to come in a bezel-less display and a regular display variants. It is said to be powered by new Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset. Another highlight of the phone will be its dual rear cameras. In optics, Xiaomi will include IMX362 or IMX386 dual cameras as per the leak.

Apart from this, the phone will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.All these information is written in Chinese on the based on a leaked image TPU case for Xiaomi X1.

The Xiaomi X1 regular display model could be offered in 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM options. Both could be priced at 1,999 Yuan (Rs. 19,000) or 2,299 Yuan (Rs. 26,700) respectively.

The Xiaomi X1 with bezel-less display model, on the other hand, could be offered in the combination of 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128GB storage. These successive models will be priced higher.

The leakster expect the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, Xiaomi X1 and MIUI 9 ROM to go official later this month. Since all this information is based on the not so reliable sources we request to take it with a pinch of salt.
