Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to make its debut in the first week for October in the China. Since, Redmi Note 4 continues to be a hot seller for the company its safe to bet on Xiaomi that it will introduce Redmi Note 5 in India.

According to some unverified account on Weibo, the Redmi Note 5 could arrive superior Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which will ensure an improvement in performance and speed.

Apart from the chipset, other major upgrade is possible in the optics arena. The phone could become first Redmi series phone to feature dual camera setup. The post also hits a 16MP + 5MP dual camera setup. There is still uncertainty over what sort of dual camera implementation Xiaomi will opt for in the upcoming device of its most popular series.

Xiaomi could also upgrade its selfie camera from 5-megapixel to 12-megapixel to compete with likes of Vivo and Oppo in offline market. Remaining spec-sheet could look similar to the Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi could offer it in 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage options. On the font, it could feature a 5.5-inch display with full HD IPS display.
