64MP sensor features

As far as the inherent tech is concerned, it would be Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. It generates bright 16MP images using pixel binning for poorly-lit environments and the full 64MP res images under favorable lighting. It is expected to feature better noise reduction, color accuracy, and phase-detection autofocus. Finally, you could capture full HD clips also at 480 frames per second (fps).

Smartphone cameras are swiftly closing their gap to the DSLR output. Besides the computational treatment, the hardware components like sensors and lens are transcending with time. Lately, 48MP sensors for the rear camera and 32MP for the front camera is the burgeoning trend. Since almost every other phones are employing this, few brands are aiming for bigger sensors to differentiate themselves. So after Samsung and Realme, Redmi is the new one to follow this suite. While all of them claim to launch first, only time will show us the victor.
