Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Retail Box Image leaked; Launch Could Be Round The Corner

New leaks from multiple sources have confirmed that Xiaomi’s next generation of Redmi devices is in the making. After news of the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 launch event was leaked online, retail package of Redmi 5 Plus was spotted on the Chinese social networking site, suggesting Xiaomi could launch the Redmi 5 Plus launch could be imminent.

Though the Redmi 5 Plus phone is not visible in the image, the retail box has clearly mentioned Redmi 5 Plus. The phone is going to be a slightly upgraded model of Redmi 5 smartphone, which is likely to be announced with ‘Plus” varaint.

Redmi 5 Plus Speculated Specifications

According to reports, the Redmi 5 Plus is going to be a high-end variant of Redmi 5. The Plus variant is expected to differ from its base model at the display, camera and battery front. Rest of the specification may remain the same as the base model, and there is a good possibility that the company might unveil the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus on the same day.

Redmi 3 Leaked Specs and Price Details

The rumoured specs on Xiaomi Redmi 5 says that the phone may feature Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and Snapdragon 630, depending on the variant, and house a 3680 mAh quick charging battery.

As per reports, the Redmi 5 could feature 5-inch full HD display and 3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage.

As far as the pricing goes, the Redmi 5 could be priced at Rs 8,000 for its base variant which can go up to Rs 11,000 for its higher variant.
