Xiaomi Poco F1 Teaser Page on Flipkart Goes Live

Earlier this week, Xiaomi’s new smartphone brand POCO confirmed that its first smartphone, dubbed as F1, will be launched in India on August 22 at an event to be held in New Delhi. A teaser page for the upcoming smartphone is now live on Flipkart, which suggests the Xiaomi POCO F1 might be launched as a Flipkart exclusive in India.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 – A Flipkart exclusive in India

Earlier today, Flipkart went live with the POCO F1 teaser page on both web and its mobile app. However, the teaser pages were taken down in no time. The POCO F1 Flipkart listing on app came with #AsFastAsYou which apparently is similar to the text mention on a blank page on Flipkart website.

Xiaomi is also expected to sale the POCO F1 its official store Mi.com and Mi Homes.

A couple of days back, a Romanian Youtuber posted what appears to be Xiaomi Pocophone F1 unboxing and hands-on video.

If this video is anything to go by, the Poco F1 phone seems to cloak with a plastic shell that has a fingerprint scanner pinned at the back. Like Xiaomi Mi 8, the Poco Phone F1 also features a 5.99-inch notch display on the front.

What To Expect from Xiaomi Poco F1 in terms of Specifications and Features

Xiaomi with this new sub-brand is trying to counter the dominance of OnePlus 6 in mid-range flagship category. Therefore, it is expected debut with similar flagship grade hardware.

About the POCO F1 smartphone, one thing is certain that its boasts a Qualcomm’s best chipset till date – the Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8 GHz with an Adreno 630 GPU. With the Poco F1 phone. Xiaomi has opted for with a liquid cooling solution, which will ensure that the device temperature remains under a check without compromising on gaming experience and any thermal throttling.

The phone is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Xiaomi could also offer Hybrid Dual-SIM slots, which will enable Poco F1 users to bump up storage up to 256GB.

As for the optics, Xiaomi is reportedly to include a dual rear camera setup with 12MP + 5MP module and a 20MP selfie camera on the front. The POCO F1 could feature a 4000mAh capacity battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Expected Price in India

Xiaomi POCO F1 in India pricing is likely to be really aggressive. Reports suggest that it is likely to be the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 845 chipset in India. Currently, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z, hold that title which starts at Rs.29,999. We expect the POCO F1 by Xiaomi to debut close to Rs.27,000 in the Indian market.
