Xiaomi Mi Soundbar, Mi TV 4X Pro 55-Inch, Mi TV 4A Pro 43-Inch Launched In India

Slowly and steadily, Xiaomi is becoming the one-stop shop for all thing tech. As we first reported, apart from launching the ‘killer’ Redmi Note 7 in China, Xiaomi also launched Mi Soundbar and two new 4K smart TVs in India. Xiaomi unveiled these products via live stream on Mi.com and Flipkart. It also revealed the price in India, as well as their availability and specifications. Let’s dive into details.

Mi Soundbar

Since sound ought to be the highlight, this device packs eight drivers, including two 20mm dome tweeters for the highs, two 2.5-inch woofers for the mids and four passive radiators for the lows and enhanced bass.

Out of the box, it comes with five connectivity options including Line-In, AUX, Optical, Bluetooth and S/PDIF. This makes it compatible with almost any TV, from CRT to LED. Bluetooth integration also means that Mi Soundbar can be paired with any other Bluetooth-enabled smart device.

Its design is very likely to guise well with your home decor. Furthermore, you don’t have to scratch your head over its setup as Xiaomi claims it could be done easily. It is priced at Rs. 4999 in India.

Mi Smart LED TVs

If you remember, Xiaomi had entered into the TV business in Q1 2018. This time the company has made few refinements and brought the Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55) and Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43) to the Indian market. Both of them comes with PatchWall OS and Android TV support. Let’s have a peek into the specs of both these TVs.

Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55)

This one comes with a large 55-inch (138.8cm) 4K Ulta HD display with the panel featuring 10-bit color depth for an immersive view. Apart from this, it has got support for HDR10 too, which would enhance your TV experience. It packs a capable set of hardware driving the processing, including 20W stereo speakers tuned for louder sound and heavier bass.

In terms of looks, it sports a beautiful metallic grey finish. Xiaomi’s intuitive Bluetooth remote features a built-in microphone which allows easy control coupled with Google Voice Search. The TV comes with a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core chipset with Mali-450 GPU, 2GB RAM + 8GB storage. It is priced at Rs. 39,999 in India.

Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43)

This lower variant features a 43-inch (108cm) display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with the same specs in terms of Sound department and the Bluetooth.

Under the hood, this TV is powered by a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core chipset with Mali-450 GPU. They also support 1GB RAM + 8GB storage. It is priced at Rs. 22,999 in India.

PatchWall with Android TV

So, if you aren’t aware of PatchWall, its an OS created by Xiaomi for the MI Smart TVs running on Android 8.1 Oreo with Android TV. It shows the apps (downloadable from Google Play Store), Movies, TV Shows etc where you can watch anything you like. It has Chromecast support with which you can stream your favorite entertainment to your HDTV.

PatchWall features content from 14 different partners like Hotstar, Hungama, Sony Liv, Voot, Eros Now, Zee5, Hooq, Epic ON and more. So, you get over 700,000+ hours of content with deep integration with online and set-top box content with universal search making it easy to search for any content across these sources.
