Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 3i with AMOLED Touchscreen launched in India at Rs. 1299

Do you remember the Mi Band HRX edition? In case you don’t, it’s a limited edition Mi Band that was launched back in 2017. Today, Xiaomi has released a successor to it named as Mi Band 3i. It’s placed as a smart band made for Indian consumers and as an upgrade, it brings a better display and a bigger battery inside.

Xiaomi has put a bigger 1.9cm (0.78) AMOLED panel that also accommodates touch support. While the display got bigger, 3i sets it off battery woes with a beefier 110mAh battery. Thus, Xiaomi is confident that the users will expect a similar endurance expected out of Mi Band series. As such, Mi Band 3i is claimed to live upto 20 days on a single charge.

Mi Band 3i launched in India

It packs the usuals such as step count, calorie, sleep, and activity tracking, along with call and notification sync. There is a “Find Device” option which lets you locate the paired smartphone directly from the band. It is water-resistant upto 5ATM (50 meters in depth for 10 minutes) and should be safe to use whilst swimming and showers.

So, this time there is no star power backing it. But, Xiaomi hangs on its expertise and reputation over the years.

Mi Smart Band 3i will be out on pre-orders starting November 21 on Mi.com. Its priced at Rs. 1299 in India.
