Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 with Snapdragon 660 SoC and 6000mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specifications and Features

Xiaomi has updated its tablet portfolio in China with the launch of the new next-gen Mi Pad 4. It is the successor of Mi Pad 3 and comes with various incremental upgrades. The Mi Pad 4 will be available for sale in two variants: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+LTE, from June 29 onwards.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Features

The Mi Pad 4 sports a pretty standard yet old-school 8-inch Full HD (1920×1200 pixels) display with 16:10 aspect ratio. The rear-end of the tablet has nothing but the camera module on the top-right corner and ‘Mi’ branding at the bottom. The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge.

Under the hood, the Mi Pad 4 rocks Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB/64GB eMMC 5.1 storage options. Keeping the tablet up and running is the 6000mAh battery that should last for more than a day on moderate to heavy usage.

Other specifications of Mi Pad 4 include a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and HDR support and an 8MP front camera. The tablet comes running on Android Oreo-based MIUI.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Price and Availability

The Wi-Fi only models of Mi Pad 4 has been priced in China at 1,099 (Rs 11,500 approximately) for its 32GB+3GB RAM model and 1,399 yuan (Rs 14,600 approximately)  for 64GB+4GB RAM option.

The Wi-Fi+LTE of Mi Pad 4, on the other hand, costs 1,499 yuan (Rs 15,600 approximately) for its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The tablets will be available for sale in the country from June 29 in Black and Gold color options.

There was no mention of Mi Pad 4 India availability from Xiaomi during the launch event.
