We are yet to hear from Xiaomi on this development. But if Tenaa information is anything to go by then the Mi 6X could be the successor of Mi 5X which made it to India as Mi A1. So, yes, this could be our first look at Xiaomi Mi A2.

Xiaomi Mi 6X Features (As per leaks)

Meanwhile, the so-called “Mi 6X” that visited the Chinese certification site with model number M1804D2SE sports a 5.99-inch display, up front. We can’t judge the display aspect ratio or the presence or absence of notch from the images, but Xiaomi is expected to use an 18:9 panel on all its phones moving forward. The presence of front-camera and earpiece on the top confirm visibly thin bezel surrounding the screen.

On the flip side, the rear panel Mi Mix 6X is seen flaunting a dual-camera setup (top-corner aligned) and a fingerprint in the middle.

No doubt the handset has a striking resemblance to affordable Redmi Note 5 Pro, but there is a catch here. The two u-antennas on the top and bottom of the rear panel are closer to the Mi 5X/Mi A1 and the phone seems to have a full metal finish.

Further, it was revealed that the Mi 6X will be aided by 2910mAh battery and measures 158.88 × 75.54 × 7.3 mm.  It is expected to run on “Android” according to the listing, so it isn’t clear whether that will be Android One version or not.

The rest of the specifications and official launch date of the device are not known as of now.
