Xiaomi burst onto the games tracker scene with its mainstream Band and now it is growing its nearness with its first smart shoes. The ‘90 minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear’ (that is what it is being officially called) is made in collaboration with technology giant Intel, which developed the mind of these shoes, the very small Curie module that houses power efficient 32Bit Quark SE chipset paired with 384kB flash memory and 80kB SRAM.

This CNY 300-costing set of shoes (proportional to $44/Rs. 2,880) have 60-day battery life (contrary to what the name proclaims) and can track each one of your development – right from strolling and running to climbing. By the day’s end, you’ll get a report of distance you traversed, your speed as well as the calories you burnt in the process. The data can be synced with a smartphone app via Bluetooth.
Talking about the shoes themselves, they come replete with air pads, anti-skid capabilities, arched design soles, and antibacterial insoles.
There are four colored variants of shoes, that will be accessible as soon as the smart shoes dispatch (which will be in mid-April) and have been separated as Black and Surf Blue for men and Black and Pink for ladies.
