Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan will reportedly launch a Smartphone brand ‘BeingSmart’ and fight it out in the hyper-competitive India market before the onset of the Diwali festival season.

A report from EconomicsTimes claims that the Star has started building an operational management team to be headed by someone who has lead Smartphone business of brands like Samsung and Micromax (Vineet Taneja ?) and has also finalized the manufacturing ODM in China.

Bhai, as he is fondly referred to by fans and friends, is also the founder of Being Human Foundation, a charitable organization which also gets funding from Being Human branded clothing,  manufactured and marketed by Mandhana Industries.

According to the report, he has already registered BeingSmart trademark for smartphones that will cater to entry-level and mid-range price segment – all priced under 20,000 INR. It is also likely that a portion of profits from the Smartphone Business will be diverted to Being Human Foundation.
