Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G India Launch Date confirmed to be April 27; company calls it ‘The Showstopper’

A while back, we told you about how Xiaomi might be planning to bring Xiaomi 12 Lite to India in the future. But, now we have more details about the already announced Xiaomi 12 Pro’s launch date.

Xiaomi has confirmed that Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is launching in India on the 27th of April. The company confirmed this via their Twitter handle calling this smartphone, ‘The Showstopper’. A teaser has been shared by Xiaomi India which highlights the triple camera setup of the device.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Specs

Since the device has already been launched in the brand’s home country China and even globally, we already know about the specs of the device.

Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch E5 AMOLED LTPO display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. It has a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels and uses a 10-bit panel. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and runs Google’s Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 skin on top. It has up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage capacity.

Xiaomi 12 Pro has a triple camera setup which includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera. It packs a 4600mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. There is a provision for 10W reverse wireless charging as well. The smartphone features USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio, dual speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.

Xiaomi 12 Pro costs 999 dollars (Rs. 76,300) for the 8GB/256Gb variant in China. Indian pricing is expected to be along the same lines.
