WWDC 2017: Apple MacBook Laptops Reportedly In-line For An Upgrade

Apple MacBook laptops are up there among the best when it comes to consistent performance, impeccable design & build quality. And reportedly, the Cupertino Giant is reportedly planning to refresh its MacBook range with new intel chipsets. As per the Bloomberg report, we will get to see upgraded Apple MaBooks at upcoming WWDC event.

As per the word on the street, the Apple will be upgrading its MacBook Pro with Intel’s latest flagship Kaby Lake which is said to be the new king. Apart from this, the 12-inch MacBook is also expected to get a newer and more powerful chip. Similarly, MacBook Air could also get lucky in 2017. There is no clarity on whether Apple will make any changes to RAM and storage this year.

Over the years, Apple has faced criticism for not upgrading its laptop which we have accustomed to with Windows world. Though, there is no radical change is expected from this upgrade cycle. If this news is true, It will Apple’s quickest upgrade ever, as it refreshed its MacBook Pro last October, which means the new upgrade arrives in less than 8 months. Moreover, the MacBook and MacBook Air definitively require an upgrade as they were last refreshed in 2016 and 2015, respectively.

It’s worth mentioning that some MacBook Pro 2016 users pointed USB-C performance issue in their and we expect Apple to address that in new launch. The WWDC 2017 is scheduled to be held from June 5th to June 9th.
