Nokia 8, Nokia 9 Leaked Video Teaser Reveals Dual Cameras Setup

After introducing Nokia 3310 in India and Nokia 6 in various European countries, HMD Global seems to be working extensively on its first set of flagship smartphones – Nokia 8 and Nokia 9. These two smartphones have been a darling to the incessant rumor mills for a while now. Now with latest video leak more information about upcoming Nokia phones has come to public domain.

Nokia 8 and Nokia 9

Evan Blass, a renowned tipster, yesterday posted a link to a brief video and alleged image renders of the Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 on his social handles. His tweet read, “Two unannounced, high-end Nokia phones make brief video debut.”

As per the leaked video, the Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 smartphones will boast dual camera setup at the rear panel. The image posted by Blass on Twitter also suggest that Nokia will offer these phones in different hues. No information about innards of these phones has been shared in the leaked video.

As per the leaks from the past, the Nokia 9 is likely to offer features such as an Iris Scanner and Carl Zeiss optics. The Nokia 9 is anticipated to come with a 5.5-Inch OLED QHD display which will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, Adreno 54o GPU and 6Gigs of RAM.

As per the reports, it is aided by a 3,800mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4 and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Like Nokia 6, it will boot Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. In optics, the Nokia 9 is said to sport a 22MP dual lens Carl Zeiss rear cameras and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies. However, this information is yet to be verified by HMD Global and thus needs to be consumed with a pinch of salt.
