Apple iPhone 14 series recently made a debut in the global market and it has already taken the industry with a boom. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are being dubbed as the best Pro models ever produced by iPhone. The reason behind the same is the introduction of multiple new features and specifications. The devices are available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1,29,000.

One thing which we can say with surety is that Apple fans are going to be very happy with the iPhone 14 Pro lineup. Here in this article, we will talk about multiple factors due to which you should buy the iPhone 14 Pro and a few of them which can influence you to not buy it at all.

Why you should buy the Apple iPhone 14 Pro?

The inclusion of Dynamic Island: The iPhone 14 Pro ships with a pill-shaped cut-out at the front for the placement of the camera and Face ID-related components. Now, Apple has taken the hardware and software integration to another level by offering a feature, Dynamic Island, that allows the pill to get enlarged in various cases.

The pill camera expands to offer notifications, music, timer, maps, and even when the user gets a phone call. Most of the people who got their hands on the smartphone are already mesmerized by the Dynamic Island feature as it took almost all the limelight in the Apple event.

A16 Bionic SoC to make the device faster: While the base variant of the series, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, are still being shipped with the A15 Bionic chipset, the company has offered the latest A16 Bionic processor in the Pro variant. The A16 Bionic chipset has four efficiency cores and two performance cores along with a 5-core GPU and 16-core neural engine.

The photo processing quality of the processor is also unmatchable due to which Apple has ditched the 12MP sensor this time to offer a sensor with higher capacity. We will get to know more about the phone from a performance perspective in the upcoming days. However, Apple has never disappointed the fans in terms of performance and we expect the same this time too.

Always-on Display is also on the cards: In the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple has also introduced the concept of Always-on Display. Working on an adaptive refresh rate, the iPhone 14 Pro will be able to create a lock screen that consumed low power and shows all the necessary things all the time.

The display of the smartphone also supports HDR brightness levels with the Pro Display XDR. Not only this, but the company provides 2000nits of peak brightness in the smartphone.

The 48MP primary shooter: For the very first time in the history of iPhones, Apple has offered a 48MP primary shooter instead of the traditional 12MP primary shooter which was seen in multiple iPhones. For the addition of the primary sensor, the company integrated the latest Photonic Engine into the A16 Bionic processor.

The iPhone 14 Pro also supports the Action Mode video feature coupled with decent stability. In addition, you will also get better quality photographs as compared to other previous iPhone versions.

Crash detection feature is not something to sleep on: Apple has always focused on offering the best security and safety features in its products. To take a step forward, the company has introduced a new crash detection feature in the iPhone 14 Pro lineup.

Both devices come with dual-core accelerometers that can detect G-force measurements of up to 256Gs. The accelerometer works with a new high dynamic range gyroscope, and barometer, that can identify the cabin pressure changes in a vehicle like a car or a truck.

In addition to that, the GPS for additional input for speed changes along with the microphone that recognizes and shares any kind of loud noises typically heard during a car crash. As soon as the Crash Detection feature is triggered, it will automatically make calls to the pre-listed emergency numbers for instant aid.

Why you should not buy the iPhone 14 Pro?

If the battery is a concern for you: Well, iPhone 14 Pro is decent in all aspects but it lags behind when it comes to battery. The device can get charged up to 50% in 30 minutes and it will get completely charged in an hour and a few minutes. As for the battery drainage, it can go on for 10 to 12 hours when it is used on a moderate basis. If you are using the device extensively, then make sure you have a charging point near you as it can get discharged in 5 to 7 hours.

Price point: Whenever you are planning to buy an iPhone, that too Pro variant, just keep in mind that you are going to burn a hole in your pocket for sure. So if the budget is something that really matters to you, you can dodge buying the iPhone 14 Pro and wait for some price cut or something to get it for yourself.
