TL; DR
- The vivo X200 Pro mini was spotted on Weibo, confirming its existence.
- It will have 6.3-inch display and all the same flagship specs as the vivo X200 Pro.
- The vivo X200 Pro mini, along with the vivo X200 and vivo X200 Pro will be unveiled on October 10 in mainland China.
Weibo has inadvertently confirmed the existence of the vivo X200 Pro mini, ahead of the official launch of the vivo X200 series on October 14 in Beijing, China. This confirmation came from a post by executive Zheng Qingwen, who used the yet-to-be-released vivo X200 Pro mini to make the post.
If you didn’t know, on Weibo, the device used to make a post is visible. Previously, there were only rumors about a “mini” version in the vivo X200 lineup, but now, with this “accidental” leak, it seems that the vivo X200 Pro mini is a reality.
The lineup, as expected, will include the vivo X200 and vivo X200 Pro, but it remains uncertain whether the vivo X200 Pro mini will be an additional model or replace the regular vivo X200. All three devices could still debut together at the October 14 launch event.

vivo X200 Pro mini Key Details
The vivo X200 Pro mini is expected to feature a 6.3” display, while the vivo X200 Pro will boast a larger 6.7-ish” screen. Under the hood, the entire X200 lineup will be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400 processor, whose Geekbench scores were leaked earlier. The scores for the vivo X200 Pro were 1,531 in single-core and 6,135 in multi-core.
According to DCS on Weibo, the vivo X200 Pro mini will sport exactly the same specifications as the larger vivo X200 Pro but in a smaller body. This will be achieved by using a high density battery and a thin and light body.
Both the vivo X200 Pro and the vivo X200 Pro mini will feature the same “customized optical main camera,” fast wired charging, wireless charging, and similar performance. The main camera could be Sony’s recently announced LYT-818 sensor, a 1/1.28” large sensor that supports real-time HDR processing.

Given that the vivo X200 Pro mini is anticipated to share many of the same features as the vivo X200 Pro, including the camera setup, it will surely appeal to those who prefer smaller, more compact smartphones without sacrificing Pro features or cameras.
In my view, the introduction of a “mini” version could be a smart move, catering to a niche market of users who want flagship specs in a smaller form factor. The trend in recent years has been toward larger phones, so this could offer a refreshing option.
