Over the past few days, several reports showcased the upcoming Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro including the recently leaked schematics. Turns out Vivo X Fold3 Pro will bring on dust and water ingress rating, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC – a first for foldable phones, and a triple rear camera with periscope lens. Let’s dive into more details.

Vivo X Fold3 Pro Specs Leaked

According to the leaked specs, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is likely to bring a 6.53” cover and an 8.03” foldable primary panel just like the X Fold2. There’s a slight change in the resolution of its cover display at 2748×1172 while the primary foldable display has a resolution of 2480×2200 pixels. There’s a contraption of 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM onboard although more options will be announced once the phone hits the shelves.

Moving further, we have the purported camera specs. There are two 32MP punch-hole selfie cameras onboard integrated with a Vivo V3 ISP chip for better shots. The rear camera assembly likely uses a 50MP primary plus 50MP ultrawide and a 64MP telephoto camera as you can see in the leaked renders below. According to DCS via Weibo, the phone is using an OmniVision OV50H with an OIS primary sensor and an Omni OV64B periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.

Vivo is adding water and dust ingress protection onboard Vivo X Fold3 Pro as well. It remains to be seen if that translates to the standard X Fold3 or not.

Vivo X Fold3 Pro will be the first foldable to pick up a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC alongside a 5,800mAh battery, 50W wireless, and 120W wired charging. There’s also an IR blaster, an X-axis linear motor, and a dual speaker onboard the Fold3 Pro.
