Vivo has been eyeing on infiltrating the flagship segment for a long time, and the foldable devices by the brand are the result of the same. In a recent development, the Vivo X Flip, the company’s first clamshell design smartphone, has been making headlines for a long time now. Recently, popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the first look at the smartphone’s outer display.

All the leaked images of the Vivo X Flip show that the device will get a circular camera module which we have previously seen in X series devices by Vivo. The camera island of the device is situated at the top left corner when it stays unfolded. When the device is folded, the cover display comes at the top of the camera module. According to the leaked images, the handset will get a purple colour variant. We can get to see more colour variants at the time of its official launch. Moving further in this article, we will discuss about the expected specifications and features of the smartphone.

The Vivo X Flip could feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from that, the secondary display of the device will most probably consist of HD resolution. The smartphone may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in the regular variant. In terms of optics, we can get to see a dual rear camera setup in the handset comprising 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra wide-angle shooter.

For the purpose of security, the smartphone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. We can also get to see 44W fast charging support in the handset. All other details regarding the device are still under wraps. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the device as soon as the launch inches closer.
