Vivo today took the veil off its new smartphone named the Vivo V21e 5G. This is a watered-down version of Vivo V21 5G. And as such it gets one less camera by the back. The dual-cam setup is however still led by a 64MP sensor. The front snapper is a 32MP sensor with support for FHD video recording. And entire machinery is driven by a Dimensity 700 5G chipset. So it brings with it the next-gen connectivity too.

Here’s the complete repertoire:

Vivo V21e features

The V21e features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Vivo sticks to a waterdrop notch inside which lies a 32MP snapper. You get an FHD recording option.

When it comes to rear photography, the phone has a dual-camera setup of 64MP main and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Coming to the processor, the phone gives you a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. This is offered with memory options up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. You also get expandable storage up to 1TB and extended RAM capability here. Internally, the phone also packs a 4000mAh battery. Even though the size is the same as V21 5G, the charging speed now goes up to 44W.

The device runs on FunTouch 11 OS based on Android 11. Other features include USB Type-C socket, dual SIM VoLTE, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
