Vivo to launch X Fold+ smartphone on September 26: Read on to know more

The second foldable smartphone from the house of Vivo is all set to go official. Yes, the Vivo X Fold+ that was spotted on various certification websites and databases will now go live in China on September 28 at 4:30 PM IST. Vivo has confirmed the launch along with revealing the first look of the device.

Vivo X Fold+: Expected specs & features

The new Vivo X Fold+ is said to come with upgrades over X Fold. It will come with Zeiss optics like the other X series devices. According to leaks and rumors, the Vivo X Fold+ is expected to come with 80W fast charging support out of the box along with packing a 4600mAh battery. It will have 50W wireless fast charging support and run Android 12 with FunTouch OS 12.

The smartphone is expected to sport an 8.03-inch foldable and a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover display. It is likely to have a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chipset. In the camera department, the Vivo X Fold+ might have a quad camera setup on the back. The quad setup will have a 50MP camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope lens. The front might see a 16MP/32MP selfie lens.

The smartphone will arrive in Huxia Red and Blue colorways and specs will get confirmed as the launch date gets closer.
