Vivo has launched the second phone in its S-series, and just like the S1 Pro launched in May, this one too offers a Super AMOLED display, but for a significantly more affordable price.

The Primary highlights include a beefy 4500mAh battery, MediaTek Helio P65 chipset with 128GB of storage, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32MP selfie shooter.

Vivo S1 Features

The Vivo S1 measures 8.3 mm in thickness and weighs 179 grams, which is pretty reasonable by 2019 standards – especially if you key in the 4500mAh power unit. There’s, of course, a gradient finish on the back, triple rear cameras, and a notch – other staples this year.

The screen is AMOLED, which is to say you can expect deep blacks and high contrast. There is an in-display sensor to go along and a dedicated smart button, which by the way proved quite handy on the Vivo Z1 Pro that we recently tested

The software is Andoird Pie based Funtouch OS, and yes, Vivo is still sticking with a regular micro USB port for charging and data transfer.

Unlike the S1 Pro, the S1 has a MediaTek chipset (12nm Helio P65) that’s paired with a generous 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Other exciting tidbits include dual engine fast charging, audio jack retention, and 32MP selfie camera.
