More than half a year later, the Vivo X90 series got a revival with the latest X90S that made its debut in China sporting a Dimensity 9200+ SoC, a curved display, a large circular camera bump at the back, and an IP64 rating onboard. Let’s have a look at what the Vivo X90S has to offer.

Vivo X90S Pricing and Availability

The Vivo X90S is available in three trims. There’s a base variant at 8+256GB with a price tag of RMB 3,999 (approx INR 45,400/-), a mid-tier 12+256GB variant at RMB 4,299 (approx INR 48,880/-), and finally, the top of the line 12+512GB variant at RMB 4,699 or approx INR 53,300/-. These prices are for the Chinese market where the phone will go on sale in China. It is already available for order in Green, White, and Black colorways.

Vivo X90S Specifications

Talking about the specs onboard, Vivo has upped the game a bit with the X90S. There’s Dimensity 9200+ SoC onboard instead of 9200 SoC on the vanilla X90. You will get a curved 6.78” 1.5K BOE 120Hz AMOLED panel onboard with a punch-hole cut-out at the center, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming onboard as well.

The phone roars with its Dimensity 9200+ SoC as said at up to 3.35GHz max frequency. There’s Immortalis-G715 GPU onboard along with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 next-gen flash storage. X90S runs on Android 13-powered OriginOS 3.0 on the software side.

Looking at the optics front, you’ll see a 32MP selfie camera on the punch-hole cutout. Flip the phone and you’ll see a heck of camera sensors onboard. It includes a 50MP primary Sony IMX866 snapper with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide snapper, and a 12MP 2X optical zoom, 50mm lens portrait shooter with Zeiss T* coating onboard.

Other specs include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistant among others. The phone uses a giant 4,810mAh battery pack clubbed with 120Hz fast charging and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 onboard.
