A Bengaluru-based startup Ultrahuman has once again revolutionized the wearable technology industry with its latest innovation, namely the Ultrahuman Ring Air. The company says that it is the world’s lightest sleep-tracking wearable that is almost a successor to the Ultrahuman Ring launched last year.

Ultrahuman Ring Air: Price & Availability

The Ultrahuman Ring Air comes in matte black color and is priced at Rs. 24,999 which is the early bird price, limited to the 1st 100 orders. The ring is on sale on the Ultrahuman website. The company is also offering Rs. 5400 trade-in credit for the Ultrahuman R1 and accepts Oura Gen 2 & Oura Gen 3 rings for trade-in. The Ultrahuman Ring Air is also available on Amazon.

Ultrahuman Ring Air: Design

The Ultrahuman Ring Air is made of a durable outer shell that is built of fighter jet-grade Titanium, reinforced with Tungsten Carbide Coating for exceptional resistance against wear and tear.

On the inside, the ring is coated with hypoallergenic epoxy resin, ensuring comfortable extended wear. Weighing 2.4 grams it is an impressive 11 times lighter than a typical smartwatch.

Ultrahuman Ring Air: Features

The Ultrahuman Ring Air comes with a sleep index that gives a comprehensive assessment of sleep health, analyzing factors like sleep duration, resting heart rate, and restfulness. It gives details about sleep quality.

The Ultrahuman Ring Air has a non-contact skin temperature sensor to monitor physiological states and responses to exercise, stress, and illness. It leverages the Phase Response Curve to help users understand their body’s circadian rhythm in relation to external stimuli.

To promote an active lifestyle, the Movement Index optimizes glucose metabolism and increases non-exercise energy usage. Users can maximize recovery with key Heart Rate Variability insights, which gauge the body’s readiness for every day.

The Ring can be used alone or with the existing conventional glucose monitoring platform, Ultrahuman M1, to give users even more detailed information about their metabolism and more specific steps they can take to improve their health.

The Ultrahuman Ring Air comes with advanced sensors, including infrared photoplethysmography, a non-contact skin temperature sensor, 6-axis motion sensors, and heart rate monitoring LEDs. It can last up to 6 days on a single charge and has Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity for seamless integration with smartphones via the Ultrahuman App.
