At the occasion UC Browser also announced that it has reached the milestone of 80 million monthly active users in India. On an average, each of these 80 million users consumes 6 pieces of news every day. UC News will try to tap into this huge potential market by bringing together traditional and new media content.

UC News aims to differentiate itself from other similar offerings by use of its Big Data technology and by integrating deep knowledge of Indian consumers which they have amassed over a period of time.
