TVS Motor finally pulled the wraps from its most awaited naked street bike last night, and the newly launched motorcycle is called the Apache RTR 310. Yes! That is right, you read it absolutely correctly, the stunning looking naked street bike has taken the stage with boy-oh-boy all impressive features and an attractive price point. It’s a tall-looking bike with USD forks at the front, sharp headlights, a liquid-cooled engine, and sporty looks. Looking at the bike, we can safely say that the Apache RTR 310 might give good competition to the recently launched KTM Duke series and at this price point, it might compete well with the Triumph 400 series. Let’s dive into the specifications and pricing of the bike and find out more.

Apache RTR 310 Price in India

The motorcycle is the leading model in the brand’s RTR series of naked street bikes. Its price range starts at Rs 2.43 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.64 lakh, excluding taxes and fees. TVS is also providing two extra kits as part of their Build-to-Order (BTO) platform, which is priced at Rs 18,000 for the Dynamic Kit and Rs 22,000 for the Dynamic Pro Kit. Additionally, customers can choose a Sepang Blue colour option for an additional cost of Rs 10,000.

Apache RTR 310 Specifications That Matter

First thing first, the Apache RTR 310 adopts a bold streetfighter aesthetic, characterized by its sleek and minimalist body panels that reveal the bike’s inner workings and chassis. Its design showcases a steel trellis frame complemented by a lightweight aluminum subframe attached securely with bolts.

Upfront, it boasts a distinctive split-type LED headlamp with dynamic lighting that grows brighter as the bike gains speed. However, we can’t promise whether it’s through enough light for your night rides or not, but it looks marvelous. The handlebar is wide and flat for a comfortable grip. The saddle adopts a split-seat configuration, while the rear section is compact, featuring a dynamic split-type tail lamp that activates as a warning during aggressive braking maneuvers.

The golden USD forks are one of the eye-catching factors of the newly launched Apache RTR 310. While the rear end features a mono-shock suspension with adjustable preload attached to the swingarm. The braking system is robust, utilizing petal-type disc brakes on both the front and rear, which are borrowed from the RR 310 model and come equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

The RTR 310 boasts a comprehensive set of features, including a 5-inch TFT instrument panel that offers full digital functionality. What’s more, this console is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing seamless smartphone connectivity with a range of features, including telemetry data and more.

The motorcycle offers riders the choice of five distinct riding modes: Street, Road, Rain, Race, and Supermoto, each catering to different riding conditions and preferences. Additionally, the bike is equipped with cruise control for added convenience, and it includes a bi-directional quick-shifter, though this feature may not be available on the base model. Other advanced features include ride-by-wire technology, Slope Dependent Control, and Front Wheel Off Control for a truly immersive riding experience.

Powertrain

When it comes to the powertrain, the RTR 310 borrows its engine from the RR 310, featuring the same 312 cc reverse-inclined liquid-cooled motor. This engine packs a punch with an output of 35.1 bhp and 28.7 Nm of torque, which is delivered through a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. Notably, the RTR 310’s engine generates slightly more power compared to the RR 310 and has been specifically tuned to provide enhanced low and mid-range performance. As a result, the Apache RTR 310 is quick off the line, capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.81 seconds, and it can reach an impressive top speed of 150 kmph.
