The highest-grossing film of 2022, Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video for the Indian audience from December 26. The movie is a sequel to its original version Top Gun, released in 1986.
Top Gun: Maverick was first released on April 28, 2022, at CinemaCon, and Paramount Pictures then distributed it in theatres all over the world on May 27, 2022. The critics praised the movie as being even better than the original and gave it top ratings. At the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, the movie received a five-minute standing ovation.

Tom Cruise plays Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the movie, Val Kilmer plays Admiral Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, and Miles Teller plays Lieutenant Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw. It also stars Jennifer Connelly as Penelope “Penny” Benjamin and Jon Hamm as Vice Admiral Beau “Cyclone” Simpson. Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Skydance Media make the film.
