The second part of Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer The Night Manager is set to make a splash on June 30 on Disney+ Hotstar. The Night Manager is a Hindi-language adaption of the novel The Night Manager by John Le Carre produced by Banijay Asia and The Ink Factory and directed by Sandeep Modi for the Indian audience.
The 4-episode initial season revolved around two of the strong characters in The Night Manager universe – Shaan Sengupta (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Shelly Rungta (played by Anil Kapoor). Shaan introduces himself as a night manager at a 5-star hotel while Shelly is a bigshot arms dealer where Shaan is trying to infiltrate and destroy the empire from within.
Directed by Sandeep Modi, the season is filled with action and thrill and the Part 2 will continue to be the same. Indeed, it isn’t Season Two but rather the first season was divided into two parts. Part 2 gives the characters a spin of webs of deception and conspiracies that will keep you in a loop.
The Night Manager is being aired in other countries as well such as Tom Hiddleston’s version along with Hugh Laurie in the UK produced by BBC and Prime Video with shootings in London, South Africa, and the UK being carried out for the second part later this year.
The show airs in the US as well with Amazon as the US partner replacing AMC. The first-ever part of The Night Manager was aired in the UK in 2016 and almost 7 years later, the TV series reached Indian audiences thanks to the collaboration between Sandeep Modi, Banijay Asia, and The Ink Factory.
