The Best OnePlus 11 Alternatives 7 Phones to Consider Before You Buy

OnePlus 11 5G is the latest entrant in the flagship cadre offering some of the best specifications out there. The latest SoC, Android 13-powered Oxygen13, a hefty 5,000mAh battery, and a Hasselblad-partnered camera setup are some of the USPs. There’s also the Fluid AMOLED panel that is silky smooth in terms of feel and performance.

OnePlus 11 is en-route to success, especially with the pricing that the Chinese smartphone maker tagged it with against its predecessors. There are still some shortcomings though such as the inclusion of 2x optical zoom and OxygenOS merging with ColorOS a lot. But that’s why you are researching the OnePlus 11 alternatives, right?

Samsung Galaxy S23 5G

The latest entrant in the Galaxy S-series, the Samsung Galaxy S23 5G appears to be a perfect argument against OnePlus 11 5G. It is especially true given the fact that both phones launched during the first week of February on global markets. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that squeezes a little more power than the OP11. Its OneUI 5.1 onboard puts up a good fight against OxygenOS 13.

The battery size can be a concern again since it’s just 3,900mAh pit against OP11’s 5,000mAh battery which ought to bring a boost in battery life. There are a few things here and there that make the S23 5G and OnePlus 11 5G brush against each other with great force head-on.

OnePlus 10 Pro

The OnePlus 10 Pro has been the premium-class flagship smartphone launched last year. It has wireless charging which is apparently not available on the OnePlus 11 to cut back on pricing, I guess. The phone brings everything from one of the fastest chipsets to an IP68 rating (*carrier-locked version only) to the Hasselblad triple camera setup. It’s a phone that has been in the market for a year which means you can read a long-term review in case you don’t want something that comes in just a few days.

With the OnePlus 11 in the market, I am quite sure that the prices for the OnePlus 10 Pro will be slashed and you will get a flagship phone at a discount rate if you can compromise over a few things. Check out OnePlus 10 Pro Review right here.

Apple iPhone 14

Do I need to introduce the almighty iPhone 14? Of course, the phone comes with a very performance-intensive A15 Bionic chipset which is just a generation below iPhone 14 Pro models. With Apple’s ecosystem, iOS platform, and the snuggly integration between the hardware, software, and services, I am quite sure that you will not regret buying an iPhone unless you are an avid Android user. The transition from Android to iOS is taxing but once you get at the helm of it, you will love iPhone 14. It is available at a cheaper price than iPhone 14 Pro Max which may bring better features but is relatively expensive.

The phone banks with a lot of horsepowers that pushes every app and game with buttery smooth performance. The photo and video quality are off the charts and that’s something no one would deny. The shortcomings are with the battery life and the proprietary lightning port although Apple is expected to show some major improvements in the future generations.

Google Pixel 7

If you are looking for an iPhone 14-equivalent Android smartphone, Pixel 7 can be a great asset. Sure, it doesn’t pack in a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-like like the OnePlus 11 but the Tensor G2 SoC is actually AI Smart. The phone offers some Pixel-exclusive software features as well as featured drops. Additionally, you get faster and in fact, more updates than any other Android smartphone out there.

Google Pixel 7 design will impress the masses just as you would end up attracting with a OnePlus 11 5G. The only exception is, the pricing on a Pixel 7 is pocket-friendly. There’s still IP68 and wireless charging tech and both aren’t available on OnePlus 11. Of course, the phone does compromise a bit with a less-powered SoC, lower-quality screen, and no telephoto cam to name a few. But hey, Pixels are known for their photography geniuses and Pixel 7 is no exception. You will be surprised just how good it is when compared to a bunch of flagship phones pitted against it.

OnePlus 10T

With budget pricing for a flagship phone, you can get your hands on the OnePlus 10T which has a blister and stellar performance.

2022 saw the T-suffixed flagship phone after OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro launched. it too came with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC which is technically a predecessor to SD8 Gen 2 seen on the OP11. It has a 150W wired charging variant too which gives you lightning-fast charge. The makers had to compromise over certain features to keep the price in check such as there’s no alert slider, no wireless charging, and water resistance either. Moreover, the back panel is plastic and not glass. However, it doesn’t mean the OnePlus 10T isn’t worth a shot.

Samsung Galaxy S22 5G

One of the leading contenders to the OnePlus 11 5G is last year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 5G. The phone packs in a compact 6.1” form factor sporting last year’s processor that will withstand the test of time for at least some time. Available through multiple storage configurations and color options, the Galaxy S22 5G is equipped with the bones and bronzes to beat many of its alternatives.

It is an incremental update although the battery life is average which can be assumed as one of its weak spots. The compactness often bewilders many who would think ‘big is better’ while the form factor is exceptionally great for handling single-handedly.

iQOO 11

Launched in China initially, iQOO 11 is one of the early adopters to bring Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 onboard. There are BMW Motorsport collab strips on the phone that give it a distinct look and feel. There’s an excellent camera island, amazing battery life, and superb overall performance thanks to the chipset and hardware configurations under the hood. Priced slightly above the OnePlus 11, the phone does bring a lot to the table.

It does lack an IP rating whereas OnePlus 11 gets an IP64 rating. Additionally, its availability is relatively limited to some countries but that hasn’t stopped it from being a willful top contender to the OnePlus 11 5G and the smartphones listed here. Additionally, iQOO which is from Oppo is making some really good progress in terms of gaming and other performance. You can read the iQOO 11 Review here.
