Tecno Phantom V Flip2 & Phantom V Fold2 Launched Globally

Tecno has launched the next generation of foldables globally. Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 & Tecno Phantom V Fold2 have gone official with the brand’s own AI Suite that includes features like AI Vision, AI Search, AI Erase, and real-time translation. The foldables are the first devices by Tecno to come with AI Suite straight out of the box.

Tecno Phantom V Flip2 & Phantom V Fold2: Price

  • The Tecno Phantom V Flip2 is priced at 699 USD for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
  • The Tecno Phantom V Fold2 is priced at 1099 USD for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model.

Both the newly launched foldables will first go on sale in Africa on 23rd September followed by Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. India launch might also take place soon.

Tecno Phantom V Flip2: Features

The new Tecno Phantom V Flip2 comes with a big cover screen that has a resolution of 1056×1056. It is a 3.64-inch cover screen that has been inspired by Moto Razr and Xiaomi Mix Flip. The inner panel is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. It weighs under 200 grams and is 7.6mm when unfolded. In terms of the camera, Tecno Phantom V Flip2 has two 50MP sensors at the back. At the front is a 32MP selfie camera. The flip phone comes with AI Suite and packs a 4720mAh battery with 70W wired charging.

Tecno Phantom V Fold2: Features

The Tecno Phantom V Fold2 is also powered by Dimensity 9000+ chipset. It has a 7.85-inch inner screen and a 6.42-inch cover display. The foldable weighs 300 grams and is 6.1mm when unfolded.

Similar to V Flip2 it comes with AI Suite. There are three cameras at the back, all being 50MP sensors. There are two 32MP cameras at the front for selfies and video calls. It draws juice from a 5750mAh battery with 70W wired and 15W wireless charging.
