Sony Xperia XZ Premium Launched In India With Snapdragon 835 and 4GB RAM

Sony India has launched Xperia XZ Premium in the country today. That also makes it the first Snapdragon 835 processor in the country. Others including the OnePlus 5 aren’t very far behind, though. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

Sony has priced Xperia XZ Premium priced at Rs 59,990. It can be pre-booked from till June 11 both online and offline. All those customers who pre-book it will get an SRS-XB20 wireless speaker worth Rs 8,990 for free. It will be available from June 12 onwards.

The XZ Premium comes a 5.46-inch IPS QHD display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. Sony boasts the fact that it comes with HDR 10 compliant display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The phone is water and dust resistant as it comes with IP68 certification.

The Xperia XZ Premium packs an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood which is mated to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It comes with Adreno 540GPU to meet all the graphics need.

Sony is also very optimistic about optics of the smartphone. It flaunts a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS memory stacked sensor that’s can shoot slo-mos up to 960 frames per second. It is assisted by predictive hybrid autofocus and predictive capture features.

Up front, it packs a 13-megapixel 1/3.06-inch Exmor RS sensor that’s coupled with 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens. Sony is upbeat on its SteadyShot technology which features in both cameras along with 5-axis stabilization.

The phone comes out of the box running on Android 7.0 Nougat. It includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (3.1), and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Xperia XZ Premium buyers will also get Sony LIV 3 month Subscription worth Rs.349 with Rs. 5200 worth game credits.
