Sony Xperia XA1 Plus with FHD Display and 23MP Camera Launched in India: Price and Specifications

Just days before the launch of Xperia XZ1, Sony India has launched Xperia XA1 Plus in the country. Earlier this year, Sony showcased the Xperia XA1 at IFA 2017. The key highlight of the mid-range phone is its improved camera and large battery.

Sony Xperia XA1 Plus Features

Following the Sony’s existing three-piece design line, the XA1 Plus also comes with plastc back and metal rim. There is thick-bezels both at the top and bottom of the screen. It uses on-screen navigational buttons with fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.

The Xperia XA1 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via SD card.It sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080X1920 pixels) display on the front with Image Enhance Technology.

For shutterbugs, the Xperia XA1 Plus packs a 23MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Exmor RS image sensor, hybrid autofocus, quick launch and capture, and an LED flash. Upfront, it has an 8MP shooter with a wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.

The Xperia XA1 Plus boots on the Android Nougat, which will be upgraded to Android Oreo as per company’s claim.It comes with a 3,430mAh battery with Qnovo adaptive charging and Pump Express+ 2.0 fast charging support. On the connectivity front, it comes with VoLTE (voice over LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX sound, NFC, USB Type-C, and GPS.

Sony Xperia XA1 India Price and Availability

The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus price in India is set for Rs 24,990. The phone will be selling in black, blue and gold color options. It is now available at Sony authorized retail chains across the country.
