Sony’s PlayStation VR2 reality headset has finally arrived in India after 10 months of its global debut. The headset comes with top-notch features but is pricey as it costs more than the standard PlayStation 5 console in the country.

The visor and sense controllers cost Rs. 57,990 while the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle costs Rs. 61,999. The headset can be purchased via Amazon, e2z store, Reliance Digital, Croma, and ShoptAtSC. The PSVR2 catalog is available for purchase via the PlayStation store as well. On Amazon, an 8% discount is available, bringing down the price of Rs. 54,990. This price is similar to the price of the Blueray-equipped PS5 console. There are limited stocks available for PS VR2 so if you want it, get your hands on it as soon as you can as there are no guarantees about when it will be back once it goes out of stock.

Those enquiring about the status of Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition are still clueless about its availability.

Sony PSVR2: Features

Sony’s PlayStation VR2 headset features a 4000×2040 OLED panel resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The visor features a 110-degree FOV and a see-through toggle that lets wearers stay in touch with their surroundings without having to take off the headset repeatedly. There is a sensory feature that leverages motor vibrations to emulate senses and tense situations from within the game.

PS VR2 has a lens adjustment dial for comfortable viewing and a 110-degree FOV, foveated rendering, and eye tracking that helps reduce the rendering workload by reducing the quality of images outside the wearer’s view.

It comes with 4 tracking cameras and a passthrough mode and needs a PlayStation 5 that can be connected via USB-Type C Port. Similar to the previous generation, it has a headset band that can be adjusted to make the headset fit closer or farther away from the face. There are advanced haptics for controllers along with Vibration feedback as well.
