Smartron today forayed into wearable space with the launch of tband, a fitness band that can measure ECG (Electrocardiography) and blood pressure. With ECG and BP stats, the band can monitor your fatigue and stress factor. The ability makes the tband standout compared to other affordable fitness trackers.

Smartron tband price in India is Rs. 4,999 INR. It will retail exclusively on Flipkart starting from May 13 at 12:01 AM. As part of launch offer, Smartron is offering premium leather strap to all buyers.

Apart from ECG and BP, tband also tracks continuously tracks heart rate as well as resting heart rate and times your sleeping hours. Like other regular fitness bands, it measures activity stats including calorie burnt, steps and running distance.

All data is synced with thealth app that is available for both Google Play Store and Apple App store.

The tband has an OLED screen and is IP67 water and dust resistance certified. The 18mm watch strap is user replaceable and the 100mAh battery inside can last for 2-4 days (claims Smartron).

The tband can also pass alerts for incoming notifications and SMS on the paired phone.

Smartron claims that the tband is the first of many health-related products it’s building as part of the TronX Health ecosystem. In fact, the company already has a number of health partners on board and will soon extend partnership with hospitals, pharmacies, and doctors.
