Smartphones launching in February 2023: 10+ smartphones to look forward to next month

After a slightly dull January, February 2023 is expected to be a blockbuster month for the smartphone market. The next month will see brands like Samsung, OnePlus, and more launching their flagships for 2023. Moreover, there will also be Mobile World Congress (MWC) which starts on February 27 and will end on March 2. The MWC will see many brands announcing their smartphones, along with announcements regarding new innovations. Let us have a look at what February will have in store for smartphone lovers around the world.

1. Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

Launch Date- 1 February 2023 (11:30 PM IST)

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Series is launching in February and will include 3 devices- Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23+, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company is hosting an Unpacked Event wherein all these 3 smartphones will be announced. It is one of the most anticipated launches of 2023. The smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipset and the Ultra variant will have a 200MP camera sensor.

2. OnePlus 11 5G

Launch Date- 7th February 2023 (7:30 PM IST)

OnePlus is going to launch its next flagship OnePlus 11 5G in India. The smartphone will also hit the global markets simultaneously. OnePlus 11 will sport a 6.7-inch E4 OLED LTPO 3.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The smartphone will have a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP Main, 48MP ultrawide, and 32MP telephoto lenses. OnePlus 11 will pack a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The event will also see OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the OnePlus keyboard, TVs, and more getting launched.

3. Oppo Find N2 Series

Launch Date- During MWC 2023 (27 February)

Oppo has already launched Find N2 and Find N2 Flip in China and both these devices might come to global markets in February. The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be Oppo’s first clamshell-style foldable smartphone that will take on Galaxy Z4 Flip. It is expected to come in Black and Purple colors and have up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The phone will have 6.8-inch outer and 3.26-inch inner displays and be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. It is said to pack a 4300mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

4. Xiaomi 13 Series

Launch Date- Global debut during MWC 2023

The brand has already launched the Xiaomi 13 lineup in China last year and the series will now hit the global and Indian markets. Xiaomi 13 Ultra was recently seen in the IMEI database which hints towards a launch soon. It will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

5. Motorola Edge 40 Pro

Launch Date- Showcase during MWC 2023

The Moto Edge 40 Pro is expected to be a rebadged version of the Moto X40. It is expected to launch in a single 12GB RAM/256GB storage model globally. It might come in black and blue colors and be priced at around Rs. 74,700.

6. iQOO Neo 7 5G

Launch Date- 16 February

The iQOO Neo 7 5G is coming to India next month. It will have the same specs as the iqoo Neo 7 SE China model. It will be powered by Dimensity 8200 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and run Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 UI. The smartphone will have a 64MP main camera sensor at the back.

7. Vivo X90 Series

Launch Date- MWC 2023/ 3 February

The Vivo X90 series includes Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro Plus. All 3 devices have already been launched in China in November 2022 and now they will come to global markets. The Vivo X90 Pro+ was the first to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The Pro model comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The smartphones will have FHD AMOLED panels and feature a triple camera setup at the back. The front will have a 32MP selfie lens.

8. Poco X5 Series

Launch Date- 6 February 2023 (5:30 PM IST)

Poco X5 Series is coming to India next month and it will include Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro devices. The Poco X5 Pro was recently seen in the hands of Cricketer Hardik Pandya which revealed its back panel design. The price will be between Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 23,000 and the smartphones will come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage models. The Pro model is said to be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

9. Realme GT Neo 5

Launch Date- MWC 2023

Realme’s GT Neo 5 will be the first to have 240W SuperVOOC charging capability. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chipset and has 16GB RAM. The smartphone is said to sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display and a triple camera setup with a 50MP main lens.

10. Infinix Note 13 Pro

Launch Date- 8th February 2023

The Infinix Note 13 Pro is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio G96 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is said to sport a 6.91-inch IPS LCD display and pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood with fast charging. There will be a 108MP main camera at the back and the phone will be priced at around Rs. 15-16k.

11. Realme 10 5G

Launch Date- February 2023

After launching Realme 10 Pro Series and Realme 10 4G, the brand is now planning to launch Realme 10 5G device in India. It will have almost the same specs as the 4G model but will support 5G connectivity.

12. Oppo Reno 8T

Launch Date- February 2023

The Oppo Reno 8T is expected to have a 108MP main sensor and be powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset. It might support a 120Hz OLED display and support 67W fast charging.
