Smartron t.phone P Launched With SD 435 Chipset and 5000mAh Battery: Specs and Price

Smartron, a brand backed by cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar, has started 2018 with an entry segment offering – the t.phone P. This new mobile from Indian company is hoping to challenge Redmi 4 supremacy as it boasts of a full metal exteriors, large battery, capable specification, fingerprint sensor and an aggressive price.

Smartron t.phone P Features and Highlights

Apart from a metallic shell, the t.phone P has a 5.2-inch HD display with 1280x720pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with capacitive keys for navigation.

For its budget offering, Smartron has opted for octa-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 system on chip which also rocks under the hood of Xiaomi Redmi 4. This Smartron mobile comes in a combination of 3Gigs of RAM with 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB) and 100GB of free tronX cloud storage.

Smartron’s latest mobile packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Both front and back cameras gets LED flash support. The t.phone P runs on Smartron’s AI-powered tronX UI which is based on Android Nougat 7.1. There is no official confirmation of Oreo update. 

The t.phone P supports dual SIM along with 4G VoLTE and is aided by a mammoth 5000mAh battery, which is clearly one of its key USP. As per the company, it could last 2 days and offer 350 hours of standby time. According to company claims, it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to refill Tthe battery.

Smartron t.phone P India Price and Availability

Smartron is once again trusting Flipkart to retail its new device. The t.phone P will become available exclusively on Flipkart from January 20. Smartron has priced the t.phone P in India at Rs Rs 7,999.
