Chinese smartphone band Nubia has announced its new flagship phone Nubia Z17S in China. The phone comes with 18:9 full vision display with slim bezels. Apart from this, it boasts off dual camera setup on either side of the phone.
Nubia Z17S Features and key highlights
The Nubia Z17Sfeatures a 5.73-inch FHD+ resolution (2040×1080 pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratio. Nubia claims its display covers 96% of the NTSC colour space. The company shied away from mentioning exact details about the Gorilla Glass protection but it does feature Gorilla Glass on both front and the rear end.
The Nubia Z17S employs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is accompanied by 6GB/8GB of LP-DDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is layered by Nubia 5.1 UI. The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB type C port.
For shutterbugs, the Nubia Z17S features a 12-MP Sony IMX362 sensor along with 23MP Sony IMX318 sensor. Up front, it houses two 5-megapixel camera sensors with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens.

Nubia Z17S also comes with TAS2555 smart audio amplifier with 7.1 channel DTS audio support. It is worth mentioning here is that there is no 3.5mm audio jack in Nubia Z17S.
The Nubia Z17S supports dual-SIM cards, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC as connectivity options.
Nubia Z17S Price & Availability
The Nubia Z17S base variant is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs. 29,617) whereas, top variant (8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage) is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 39,499). Both variants of Nubia Z17S will be offered in in Black and Blue hues. There’s no word on its availability in India but It will go on sale from October 19 in China.
