If you are not inclined towards full vision displays, then the Samsung’s new W2018 flip phone might interest you. The South Korean tech giant at a launch event in China launched the successor of their last year’s flip phone W2017.
The W2018 also came on the night of Samsung’s 10th-anniversary charity raising programme that they started in 2007. The highlight of the phone is its dual-display and premium design.

Samsung W2018 Flip Phone Features
The W2018 comes in a clamshell design sandwiched inside the metal and glass body. The phone sports a dual 4.2-inch Super full HD (1920×1080p) AMOLED display, protected under the Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the W2018 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB RAM.
The phone is available in two storage variant: the Extreme Edition has 64 GB of storage whereas the Collector Edition has 256 GB of storage.

In optics, the W2018 is industry first smartphone to sport a 12-megapixel camera with f/1.5 aperture. The camera further adds features like Optical Image Stabilization and an aperture that adjusts to the lighting condition. Samsung says when there is sufficient light the camera will switch to f/2.4 aperture, or else it will shoot images from the f/1.5 aperture. Up front, we have a 5-megapixel sensor.
The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and houses a 2,300mAh battery. Other specifications include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bixby button for voice assistant support, and it is equipped with a USB-C port.
Samsung W2018 Price and Availability
The Samsung W2018 comes in two color choices, Elegant Gold and Platinum. The W2018 price is unknown as of now but, it is speculated to be around $2,000 (roughly to Rs 1,29,000). The official figure should be out in next few hours.
Samsung is also providing the buyers of W2018 with additional perks like concierge help at airports and subways, free software tech support, phone cleaning and disinfection, screen replacements at reduced pricing, and an exclusive hotline for VIPs.
