Samsung Unwrapped 2016 Variants of Popular Galaxy J7 And Galaxy J5 In China

Samsung – a South Korean tech giant, has updated its popular mid-range galaxy smartphones J7 and J5. The 2016 variant of Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 are now listed on the company’s official website in China. Samsung has persisted with its selfie camera driven strategy for these two smartphones as well.

The Galaxy J7 2016, hoists a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display upfront and under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz. In the memory section, it comes with 3Gigs of RAM and 16GB ROM with an expansion slot in the bay. The Galaxy J7 features LTE, NFC among various connectivity options and consume power from a 3300mAh battery.

On the other hand, Galaxy J5 2016 sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 resolution. At the heart of it, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 is accelerating at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for media expansion. The phone draw power from its dedicated 3100mAh battery.

There is still uncertainty over its pricing and prospects of docking on Indian shores any time soon. Going by the past experience, both the phones are likely to be priced somewhere closer to their predecessors.
