Samsung Galaxy A9 with 6-inch FHD display and fingerprint scanner goes official

Time for speculations on Samsung Galaxy A9 is over. Samsung has finally revealed its much speculated Galaxy A9 in China.

This Galaxy A8 successor features ‘A-series’ signature metal clad design with a few tweaks. It boasts of a 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED with 2.5D curved glass on top. The Galaxy A9 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and under its hood enthralls a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 (620) SoC, which is coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.  It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with a physical home button with a fingerprint scanner embedded into it. Apart from appealing spec-sheet, it  has a slim 7.4mm slim waist-line within which it also packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.

The  new Galaxy A-series phone support dual nano SIM in its international variant. In terms of optics, Galaxy A9 has a 13-megapixel primary snapper with optical image stabilization (OIS), LED flash and an f/1.9 aperture. At the front, it features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for slefies.
